The meaning of your communication is the response that you get – it does not matter what you meant, what matters is the perception of the other
There is always a reason for the way people behave and perceive – understand a person’s motivations and values rather than only assessing the end result
Emotionally charged responses are often reactions to past pain not the present circumstances – be aware that our body, mind, emotions and spirit are always linked, one will affect the other
